The background
Seven years designing digital products, and since November, doing it independently. Draftpace is what came out of that: planners and systems for the parts of life that quietly break. Wealth Drafts is the writing side of it.
Why a designer writes about money
Most people do not need more financial advice in general. They need the specific thing that applies to their situation, in language that does not assume they already understand it. Budgets rarely fail because someone lacked willpower. They fail because they were built for a month that never actually happens, which is a design problem before it is a money problem.
What I am not
Not a licensed financial advisor, and never claiming to be. Nothing here is personalised advice. What you get instead is plain language, the arithmetic shown, primary sources linked where a number is doing real work, and an explicit editorial standard for how the guides get written. Where something genuinely cannot be known, the guides say so rather than guessing.
What I write about
Budgeting, Saving Money, Make Money, Money Habits, Debt Payoff. All 52 guides are listed in the guides index.
